Bjala is an innovative urban solutions company operating out of Jeppestown in Johannesburg that is reinventing the property development industry. Their model is entrenched in community upliftment, so they are always investing their efforts into projects that benefit the community.They constantly challenge the status quo, always choosing to rethink the norms.

Bjala tasked ADD-ON with creating a new website. An innovative, socially entrenched brand such as this, needed a nimble website that could grow alongside the company and the community, as well as easily communicate the brand’s on-going activities.

The idea was to give Bjala the ability to add snippets of content to the site as they pleased; to be able to manipulate it, highlight it, animate it, move it around or just get rid of it completely. Of course the site also needed to work across most devices. We decided to go with a WordPress solution due to the ease of its content management system. After searching the web to see if there were any pre-built themes that ticked all the boxes, we ended up finding the perfect theme and, with a bit of customisation, we managed to materialise our idea.
