Add-On Digital designed, implemented and managed a Facebook campaign to promote the Ikeys Vibe Synergy Live Competition, in collaboration with WebTickets.
Ikeys Vibe, as part of its on-going commitment to offer students countrywide discounts and deals, offered its online community the chance to win tickets to the Synergy Live event in Cape Town. Add-On digital was briefed to conceptualise and execute a Facebook competition that would encourage maximum engagement and shares.
The mechanic was simple. We asked the Varsity Vibe Facebook community to state, in the comments section of the post, which friend they’d most like to go to the Synergy Live 2014 festival with. In doing so, that friend was instantly notified of the competition and the competition spread organically in this way. We also allocated budget towards boosting the posts on Facebook to give the competition an additional push. The results can be seen below.
