Skin Sense Day Spa is one of the most awarded Day Spa’s in the country. After operating for close to 15 years without any updates to their identity, the brand was in need of a consumer relevant refreshment. So we took their brand values and their vision for the future and translated it into a new identity.
The new identity maintains the brands’ heritage, look and feel and colours. A vital element of the spa is water and the logo needed to represent the serenity, fluidity and the amazing powers of water. We also wanted the logo to represent the brand’s approachable and friendly personality and we achieved this through creating a soft, free flowing design. The letter “S” appears four times in the name so a “S” taking the form of a water droplet made for the perfect icon.
And finally, in order for the logo to work across multiple mediums, we created multiple iterations:
We also re-designed Skin Senses’ website based on the updated look and feel and utilised simple approachable functionality techniques for ease of navigation. The site is also responsive to the users screen resolution and looks beautiful on mobile devices and tablets as well as on desktops. You can see the live site here.
